Marketing Finance Specialist

As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a passionate and experienced Marketing Finance Specialist to join our team based in Brisbane.

About the Role
In this key role, you will play a crucial role in the secure, accurate and timely collection of revenue for coal sales. You will manage end to end invoicing, trade finance documentation and revenue processes, while supporting forecasting, reporting and audit requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and administer the preparation and distribution of customer shipping documentation and invoices
• Issue coal sales invoices and manage credit and debit note true ups
• Manage Letters of Credit documentation, including pricing, presentation and negotiation of documents
• Administer, reconcile and manage demurrage and despatch payments and receivables
• Reconcile daily marketing bank statements and monitor, track and report payments
• Process foreign currency payments and support treasury related cash flow reporting
• Maintain and govern registers for coal sales contracts and key publication subscriptions
• Prepare documentation and instructions for ports and laboratories for each shipment
• Support sales and revenue month end activities, reconciliations and audits
• Prepare and submit export declarations to the Australian Government

About You 

Key to your success will be your:

• Demonstrated experience managing Letters of Credit, reconciliations and forecasting processes
• Advanced attention to detail with the ability to manage complex transactional workflows
• Exposure to SAP is highly desirable
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and or 3 to 5 years industry experience in a similar role, ideally within bulk commodities or export focused industries

This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong commercial awareness and the confidence to manage complex, high value transactions across multiple stakeholders.
