About the Role

We are seeking a Superintendent Contracts & Procurement to lead site based strategic sourcing and commercial contracting activities across a diverse and high value spend portfolio. Reporting to the Director Commercial, you will provide leadership across procurement strategy, contract management, supplier performance and governance.

This is a senior leadership role with real influence. You will partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, Projects and Corporate teams to ensure commercial outcomes align with operational priorities.

Your role will be interesting and varied and will include:

• Leading strategic sourcing and category strategies across mining services, maintenance, capital projects and operational supply
• Overseeing end to end contract development, negotiation, execution and administration
• Driving supplier performance, value optimisation and risk management
• Acting as a trusted commercial advisor to site and corporate leadership
• Leading, mentoring and developing a high performing contracts and procurement team
• Ensuring strong governance, compliance and commercial discipline across site

Your work will directly influence cost performance, supply continuity, risk management and operational outcomes.

About You

You are a commercially astute leader with a strong background in strategic procurement and contracts within complex operational environments. You balance commercial rigour with strong stakeholder relationships and know how to lead teams to deliver results.

Key to your success will be your:

• Proven leadership experience in strategic sourcing and contract management
• Strong commercial and negotiation capability
• Experience operating in mining, resources or heavy industry environments
• Ability to partner effectively with operations and senior stakeholders
• Track record of building capable, engaged commercial teams
