About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Superintendent CHPP Production to join our team at Curragh Mine. Reporting to the Manager CHPP, this leadership role is responsible for driving safe, efficient production outcomes while building and developing a strong CHPP operations team.

Your role will be interesting and varied and will include:

• Lead CHPP production teams, focusing on safety, efficiency, and team development.
• Execute approved production plans covering coal crushing, processing, product management, and train loading.
• Manage contracts associated with CHPP production activities.
• Collaborate across Mining, Maintenance, Marketing, and Technical Services teams to optimise business outcomes.
• Provide input into production scheduling, review plans, and manage risks.
• Drive continuous improvement in CHPP processes, documentation, and team capability.
• Manage production costs, monitor performance, and report on variances.
• Uphold and promote Curragh’s CARE values: Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, Excellence.

You’re a results-driven, safety-first leader with deep experience in coal processing and team management. You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing production targets with people development, and have a proven ability to deliver strong business outcomes.

Key to your success will be your:

• Experience in coal processing and material handling operations.
• Demonstrated leadership capability managing large and diverse teams.
• Strong understanding of coal product quality, marketing constraints, and regulatory requirements.
•  Proven ability to drive operational performance, continuous improvement, and cost control.
