Curragh Mine, located near Blackwater, is a major open-cut coal operation with two Coal Handling Preparation Plants and a strong focus on safe, reliable, and efficient production.

What You’ll Do

We currently have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor (Field Maintenance), reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for delivering planned maintenance activities across critical field-based mining assets to ensure reliability, availability, and production targets are achieved.

You will lead Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance teams working across mobile and fixed field equipment, ensuring all personnel operate within their competencies and authorisations, while maintaining full compliance with the SHMS, relevant standards, and the Coal Mining Safety and Health Act and Regulations.

What You’ll Bring:

• Experience in maintenance of heavy mining equipment, processing plants, or general field maintenance environments
• Experience maintaining large mobile mining equipment or similar heavy earthmoving assets in field operations
• Strong knowledge of statutory requirements and regulations within open cut coal mining operations
• Strong technical understanding across Electrical and Mechanical disciplines
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Proven leadership capability in operational maintenance environments

Additionally, you are known for practical problem solving, strong communication skills, and a genuine desire to contribute to a high-performing team and continuously improve outcomes in the field.

This is a permanent role working a 7/7 roster.
