What you’ll do
We’re looking for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join the team in a permanent role. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, you’ll play a key role in connecting maintenance and production teams to coordinate short-term planned maintenance activities.
You’ll be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance work, supporting shutdowns, completing inspections, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and responding to day-to-day priorities based on operational needs and resources.
Through effective planning and continuous improvement of maintenance strategies, you’ll help drive equipment reliability, production targets, and cost performance within the Maintenance Department.
This role works a Monday–Thursday, 4/3 roster.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience using CMMS systems (SAP and Viziya advantageous but not essential)
- Strong understanding of asset management and maintenance planning processes
- Knowledge of life cycle costing and budget forecasting
- Previous planning and scheduling experience highly regarded
- Good understanding of statutory requirements in open-cut mining environments
- Strong technical background in mechanical maintenance
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work well in a team and contribute to a positive culture
