About the Role


Coronado is seeking a Maintenance Planner on a 15-month Fixed-Term contract. Reporting to the Planning and Warehouse Superintendent, you’ll be the key link between maintenance and production, ensuring mechanical maintenance is well-coordinated and executed efficiently. This role will be based at our Curragh Complex in Blackwater.

 

What You'll Do

 

  • Plan and schedule mechanical maintenance activities, inspections, and shutdowns to keep operations running smoothly.
  • Work closely with maintenance and production teams to prioritise tasks based on operational needs and resource availability.
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance strategies, boost equipment reliability, and optimise efficiency.
  • Ensure all mechanical work complies with statutory regulations and safety requirements.
  • Maintain clear records and provide timely updates to support decision-making across teams.

 

What You'll Bring

 

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Understanding of asset management, life cycle costing, and budget forecasting.
  • Knowledge of statutory laws for open-cut coal mine maintenance.
  • Skilled in SAP; Prometheus experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
