What you'll do
Reporting to the Planning and Warehouse Superintendent, you'll play a key role in ensuring our maintenance teams have the right materials available to safely execute planned work and keep our operations running efficiently.
Working closely with Maintenance, Warehousing, Procurement and Engineering, you'll coordinate inventory activities that support maintenance schedules, optimise stock levels and improve supply chain performance across site.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensure materials and critical components are available ahead of planned maintenance, helping our teams execute work safely, efficiently and on schedule.
- Manage inventory performance by reviewing stock levels, lead times and replenishment strategies to balance availability with cost.
- Work collaboratively across Maintenance, Engineering, Procurement and Warehousing to resolve material issues, improve inventory accuracy and support reliable operations.
- Monitor supplier performance and purchase orders, proactively expediting critical items and resolving shortages to minimise operational delays.
- Analyse inventory and supply chain data to identify trends, improve material availability and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships across the business, providing trusted inventory planning support that contributes to equipment reliability and operational performance.
What you'll bring
- Experience in inventory planning, materials management or supply chain within mining, heavy industry or a similar environment.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and maintenance support processes.
- Experience using SAP or a similar Maintenance Management System.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across multiple departments.
- A proactive approach to safety, continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.
