Role Overview

 

As the Contracts Administrator, you’ll oversee the full contract lifecycle, ensuring every agreement is compliant, accurate, and delivered seamlessly. You’ll coordinate the preparation, execution, and management of contracts and variations, monitor performance, and maintain clear records—all while serving as the key contact for internal teams, suppliers, and project stakeholders, keeping operations efficient and on track.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Prepare, review and format contracts, variations, extensions, and tender documentation while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and legal standards.
  • Maintain contract registers and document control systems, tracking milestones, deliverables, and supplier performance.
  • Support procurement and commercial activities, including RFQs, RFTs, RFPs, and supplier evaluations, providing data and recommendations to inform decisions.
  • Process and verify invoices, progress invoices and progress claims, purchase orders, and variations while monitoring budgets and reporting on contract performance.
  • Act as a liaison between suppliers, contractors, and internal teams, providing guidance on contractual requirements and facilitating handovers.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, governance, and compliance processes to strengthen contract management frameworks.

 

About You:

 

  • Experience in contract administration, procurement support, or commercial coordination.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in contract or procurement systems (ERP, CLM platforms, eProcurement tools).
  • Familiarity with mining or heavy construction contracts, procurement frameworks, or project delivery methodologies would be highly regarded.
  • Tertiary qualification in business, commerce, or law is desirable.
