Contract Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Contractor Management Specialist to join our team at the Curragh South Open Cut Mine in Blackwater. 

Reporting to the HST Superintendent, you will play an important role in ensuring compliance with our Contractor Management System while supporting Contract Owners, Contract Administrators and contractor representatives through contractor establishment, onboarding and mobilisation requirements.
 

What You’ll Do

Your role will be interesting and varied and will include:

• Support departments with the onboarding and ongoing management of contractors in line with the Contractor Management System.
• Coordinate contractor establishment and mobilisation requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to Contract Owners, Contract Administrators and contractor representatives.
• Undertake assurance activities relating to the Contractor Management System.
• Develop reports and metrics to monitor contractor safety performance and compliance.
• Identify and follow up contractor compliance requirements.
• Work closely with Contractor Representatives and Contractor Site Representatives to support effective mobilisation.
• Develop and deliver contractor management training to internal stakeholders and contractor representatives. 

What You’ll Bring

You’ll be highly organised, confident working with multiple stakeholders and comfortable managing contractor compliance requirements in a busy operational environment. 

Ideally, you will bring:

• Previous experience in contractor management, mobilisation, compliance or a similar role.
• Qualifications in contractor management
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Experience working with contractor management or safety systems.
• Strong reporting, administration and data management skills.
• Experience with incident management databases and learning management systems.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with operational teams, contractors and internal stakeholders.
