What You’ll Do

We’re looking for a CHPP Operations Supervisor who thrives on action, leadership, and results. Reporting to the CHPP Superintendent, you’ll be the driving force behind safe, efficient, and high-performing coal handling and preparation operations - all on a lifestyle roster that gives you time for what matters most.

What you’ll do:

• Lead from the front - inspire and guide your team to deliver safe, reliable production every shift.
• Own the plant - manage day-to-day operations including the CHPPs, stockpiles, stackers and reclaimers
• Build capability - oversee training, authorisations, and skill development to keep your crew trained and capable.
• Champion safety and compliance - champion safety and health standards through accurate reporting and robust systems of work.
• Drive improvement - find smarter, safer ways to get the job done.
• Shape the culture - coach, mentor, and lead a team that values performance, teamwork, and positive change.

What You’ll Bring

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

• A trade qualification is highly regarded.
• Experience in coal or mineral processing, or in production/maintenance within a plant environment.
• Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience.
• Practical knowledge of SCADA and PLC control systems.
