Coronado Global Resources operates in the Bowen Basin, producing high-quality metallurgical coal. Our Curragh Mine, near Blackwater, is one of the region’s largest open-cut operations and has played an important role in the local community for over 40 years.

We are seeking an Accommodation Cost Officer to join our team at the Curragh Complex. This is a high-impact role where you will take ownership of accommodation cost management, reporting and data integrity across the operation.

This is more than your average admin role. You will play an important part in ensuring accommodation services run smoothly, with accurate data and reliable reporting.

About the Role

Reporting to the Superintendent Accommodation, you will play a key role in managing the financial and operational side of accommodation services across site. You will be the link between multiple teams, ensuring everything from purchase orders through to reporting and compliance is running smoothly.

Your role will be interesting and varied and will include:

  • Managing purchase orders and receipting in SAP for accommodation services
  • Leading monthly reconciliations across camp costs and occupancy data
  • Ensuring alignment between billing, site data and internal reporting
  • Supporting rent deduction audits and payroll accuracy
  • Owning accommodation data integrity across systems including SharePoint
  • Preparing and delivering monthly reporting to operations and contractors
  • Assisting with Fringe Benefits Tax reporting for accommodation

About You

You are someone who likes to take ownership, stay organised and make sense of data. You are comfortable working across systems and stakeholders, and you take pride in getting the detail right.

You will also bring:

  • Experience in financial administration
  • Strong Excel skills and confidence working with data and reporting
  • Experience using SAP or a similar ERP system
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Exposure to mining or a similar operational environment is advantageous
